Custom modded computers

From the good ol' square side window, to fully colour-coordinated, overclocked and water-cooled PC's LiveFire's staff can do it! What's the point of all these words, if you can't see for yourself just how good we are?? Below you can find some photos and spec's of two PC's belonging to one of our staff members, Charles. Project: GREEEN

An as yet unfinished custom system with a unique green theme. When completed, this PC will have green LED lighting, and custom sleeved green UV reactive cables, all housed inside a custom made clear acrylic case. Designed primarily for media centre usage, this PC is built around the following hardware:

- AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition CPU
- Asrock 880GMH-LE/USB3 motherboard
- 4GB A-RAM DDR3 1333MHz
- 2TB Samsung F4EG HDD
- 40GB A-RAM ULTRA II series SSD
- Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card
- LG Blu-Ray reader
- Antec EarthWatts 380W Green PSU
- Coolermaster Vortex Plus CPU cooler

Project: Forty-Seven

Charles's main computer, and a continually evolving mod project, this rig is meant for speed as much as it is for looks (despite using a mediocre CPU). Based off a now very old Antec P180 case, this extensively modded PC is a prime example of the kind of things you can do to a case. Mods include the custom window, painted black interior, red activity LED's, sleeved front panel cables, cable routing holes in the motherboard tray, neon lighting, and a hand-made shroud to hold the fans and radiator for the water-cooling. Components are:

- AMD Phenom II X4 960T Black edition overclocked to 4.2GHz
- Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHZ DDR3 RAM
- Asus Xonar Essence STX sound card
- 1 x XFX and 1 x HIS ATI HD6950 2GB in CrossFire
- 2 x 300GB Western Digital Velociraptor HDD's in RAID 0
- 1TB Samsung F3 HDD
- Corsair AX 750W PSU
- XSPC Rasa RS240 water-cooling kit
